Document Types within ClubHouse Online e3 allow you to easily create pages geared towards specific areas within the club industry. For example, there are documents for displaying banquet facilities, dining menus, golf course tours and scorecards, and contact pages. In addition, you can use document types to create a news section within your website or create a blog and have your members comment on various topics discussed within the club.
Creating a page using a document type is fairly straight forward; the website will request necessary information in order to build your page. Populate the field information requested by the documents, click on save, and your page will be built using a pre-determined layout and the field information entered. Some document types have sub-pages, for instance Club Directory, whereby a directory can have multiple departments, and each department has multiple contacts. Field information is primarily plain text however some document types require pictures or have the ability to use an HTML editor.
