For users of Windows 7 and Windows 8 users, the latest version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer is now in full release and Windows users scheduled to receive automated updates may soon receive this update, if they have not already. Upon updating to Internet Explorer 10 (IE 10) you may experience problems when navigating and administering the content within your ClubHouse Online e3 website. Two major areas of concern are the inability to edit content using the website's HTML editor, and navigating the Event Calendar which also impacts your members.
We are working towards ensuring ClubHouse Online e3 is compatible with all major web browsers, however in the short term if you are currently using IE 10 we suggest installing an alternative browser, such as
Firefox 20, or uninstall IE 10 and re-install IE 9.
For assistance in uninstalling IE 10, please follow these steps below
- In Windows, navigate to Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features
- Click on the option on the left 'View Installed Updates'
- Scroll down to the section entitled 'Microsoft Windows'
- Double click 'Windows Internet Explorer 10'
- This will prompt an uninstall. It may take a few minutes and you will be required to reboot your machine when it is finished
- Once your system has rebooted Internet Explorer will be reverted to version 9
You can manually download Internet
Explorer 9 from Microsoft's
Download Center. Alternatively, you can download and install
Firefox 20 which does not require you to uninstall IE 10.
