The Social Networking module offers your membership a feature rich online communication experience within the secure environment of the club. Members can join groups, post messages on discussion boards and forums, create their own custom profile complete with personal information and a picture, and connect with other club members all within your ClubHouse Online website.
Social Networking is segmented into three areas:
My Profile/Homepage The hub of Social Networking; this is where users can post updates on their own profile allowing others to comment, display their own website profile information from the membership roster, display the groups they have joined and utilize the user to user messaging options to communicate internally within the club.
Groups The Group functionality provides members with a specific area on the club's website to post content to other group members. Examples of groups can include board or committee meeting notes, bridge club, tennis club, etc. A group can contain pages, media content, and forums. Clubs have the ability to determine whether or not Members can create and manage their own groups.
Forums Allows clubs to post discussion topics and garner feedback from their website users (Members or Employees). Forums can be site wide but can also be contained within a Social Networking 'Group'. Clubs can choose if discussions are mediated by a website administrator or a particular user.
We have recently updated our documentation on the Social Networking module which can now be found under
e3 Help > Member Modules > Social Networking. This documentation includes help with
My Profile,
Groups and
Forums. If you do not currently have the Social Networking module and would like more information please contact either your ClubHouse Online Support team or Account Representative.
