A successful marketing campaign is when the maximum number of recipients open and view your message. Last month, we mentioned how spam filters have become more aggressive in their approach to block unwanted emails. Unfortunately, this means a larger number of legitimate messages are captured by these filters and never reach their intended audience.
A spam filter will not only attempt to identify the sender of the message, but will also ensure the recipient is who the message was intended for. One of the methods to assist with this verification is to personalize your emails with ‘Merge Fields’.
