Tee Time Reservations
The online Tee Time Reservation system allows members to make tee time reservations, request tee time (for clubs using Jonas Tee Time Lottery), view tee sheets for any open day and manage any future bookings.

Searching For A Tee Time

When navigating to the online Tee Time Reservations module, users are presented with four options:
  • Tee Sheets – allows users to view tee sheets, search for open tee times, and make tee time lottery requests.
  • My Bookings– users can view their future reservations and requests.
  • Group Tee Times/Requests – users can create group bookings or requests for multiple players on multiple times.
  • My Groups/Buddies – create and manage reservation groups, and a list of buddies from a list of other members and your personal guests.

Sections within Tee Time Reservations can be edited by the website administrator. For information on how to edit page titles, please review Page Properties.

From Tee Sheet, users have the option to search for open times by submitting a date, time range, and golf course. The system will then return the results of the search.

  1. Date & Time: Select the date to be searched and the time range from the 4 options to the right:
    • Morning will provide the earliest time in the sheet to 12:00 Noon
    • Afternoon from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • Evening from 4:00 p.m. until the last tee time in the sheet.

Dates Highlighted in Green represent open sheets within Jonas Tee Time Management. Note, dates in green do not necessarily mean the date is available for users to book.
  2. If necessary, choose the course to which you would like to search for. You can also search for times on multiple courses by checking off each course.
  3. Click Find Available Times
Users also have the ability to view an entire tee sheet without the need to search for a particular time. By using the quick tabs on the top, select an available day from the next 7 upcoming dates. Click View Calendar to the right of the page to select a date more than 7 days out.

Making A Tee Time Reservation

Once the system has returned the search results, users can select and book an open tee time via the blue pill button located on the left side of the table, or by using the Quick Book feature located on the right side of the table.

Quick Book allows the user to pre-populate a tee time using predefined tee time groups or To Be Determined Players. To Be Determined Players, or TBD’s, allow members to make reservations without the need for entering a member or guest name. Clubs have the option to enable or disable TBD player entry within Tee Time Reservation Settings.

  1. The Book Tee Time page will display the date and time of the reservation along with the course. A Change Time link located to the left of the Tee Time will allow users to change the time of their reservation. A Change link located to the right of the number of holes allows users to change the type of reservation (18 holes or 9 holes).
  2. To add a player to the reservation, first select a player type by clicking Member, Guest, or TBD (To Be Determined, if applicable) on an empty player.
  3. To add a member, begin typing their name in the field provided; the system will use an autocomplete to predict the name of the member by providing users with a list of possible options. If users are uncomfortable with this method, members can be selected using the search area on the right.
  4. To add a guests, select Guest and a field will open up with the radio button beside Guest selected. To add a guest, type their name in the field provided. A First and Last name must be entered.
  5. If the club allows To Be Determined (TBD) players to be added to a booking, the option will be available for member to select. To add a TBD player, a member need only select TBD and a TBD player is added to the booking.
  6. To add a Buddy -  Member, Guest or Group -  select the Buddies tab within the right pane of the screen to view a selectable list of Buddies and pre-defined groups. Users can manage their Buddies in Buddies and Groups.
Buddies or Groups that are ineligible to play during this time will be hidden from this view. This also includes Groups that are larger than the available number of players.
  7. Once all the players have been added to the reservation, users can edit the Transportation Options and Caddy options per player using the available radio buttons. To add rental clubs, users must first click on Show Rental Clubs options link to display rental club options for each of the players on the reservation. Once displayed, users can apply the rental clubs to the players on the reservation. Transportation, Rental Clubs and Caddy options can be controlled within Tee Time Reservation settings.
  8. Lastly, notes can be added to the reservation using the plus (+) icon on the lower right hand side of the page. Once a reservation is made, the note can be accessed within the reservation via Jonas Tee Time Management.
  9. Click Book Now to complete the reservation. A pop-up confirmation window will appear with the details of the booking. If the club is using J-mail, each player will receive an email copy of their confirmation.

Making a Tee Time Request

To start booking a request, users must select the Maroon colored tee time on the left side of the tee time table. Once chosen, the procedures for Requests are very similar to making a reservation. The added options specify the earliest acceptable tee time, latest acceptable tee time, wish list in the event the request isn't processed, and lastly the ability to allow other members to add themselves as players to your tee time request. Review the steps for Making a Tee Time Reservation for more information on adding players to a booking.

Make Tee Time Lottery Request Page

  1. Acceptable Time Range: A request is only the desire to play at a certain time in a day. However once the lottery is ran, there is a limited chance a player received the exact time requested. Therefore, the system will ask the user what the earliest and the latest time they can play is, to ensure the player gets a tee time they can attend.
  2. Add to Wait List: If the user does not get a time, this option will ensure they are placed on the Wait List so the club can review ineligible requests at a later date. It is strongly recommended that Club's default this option, as a request that is not processed during the Lottery will get deleted permanently unless it is placed on the wait list.
  3. Lastly, a user booking a request can allow other buddies or members to add themselves to this request. For example, if John Ackerman would like to play with Roger Smith then he would need to create a new request for the same time for himself. However, when Lottery is ran there is no guarantee that both Roger Smith and John Ackerman will get the time they requested. Therefore, Tee Time Reservations allows John Ackerman to add himself as a player in Roger's request, ensuring that tee time given to Roger will also include John Ackerman.

Users will click Book Now to complete the request booking. A pop-up confirmation window will appear with the details of the booking. Each player does not receive an email in this instance; if the club is using J-mail players will receive an email confirmation of their tee time once the Lottery is ran and their request has been processed.

Making a Group Reservation/Request

Booking a group reservation or request, is similar to booking a regular reservation or request, with the additional functionality of booking multiple tee times simultaneously. To access Group Tee Times/Requests click on the tee time menu option Group Booking.

Group Reservations

  1. Search for available tee times or view a sheet by following the same steps outlined in Searching For A Tee Time. Once the system has returned the results, select the tee times you wish to book by checking the checkboxes adjacent to the time. Click the Book/Request Group button at top right to access the booking detail screen.
  2. Once the tee times have been locked, the player details can be added to the group booking. Each tee time group in the group booking is contained within its own box and only one group can be edited at a time. The user making the reservation will be added as Player One to the first group in the group booking – which is the first group edited. Add players to the group using the Member Search, Buddies and Groups, and Guest tabs.
  3. To add a player to the reservation, use the search area on the right to find a member or click on one of the tabs to add a Buddy, Group, or Guest. To add a member, search for the member’s last name using the alphabetical index, or enter the member’s last name into the search field. Once found, click on the member's name. Review the steps for Making a Tee Time Reservation for more information.
  4. To add a Buddy or Group, click on the Buddy or Group name.
Groups that are too large to fit in the entire group booking will not be displayed for the user to select.
When adding a group booking and adding a group from within Buddies and Groups, a single group of 4 players can be added to that tee time you are editing, or a larger group can be added to fill in the other tee times selected in the group booking. In essence, if a group booking consisted of three tee times, a group made up of 11 players can be added once, and all three times will be automatically filled in. Please see the My Groups/Buddies section for more information on creating groups and adding players to the buddy list.
  5. Once the first tee time group is populated, the system will automatically shift to the next tee time group for editing. The user can return to editing any of the groups by clicking on the pencil icon (edit this time) from within the tee time group box.
  6. Once all the players have been added to the request, users can edit the Transportation Option, and whether each of the players will require a Caddy using the radio buttons beside each player. To add rental clubs, users must first click on the Show Rental Clubs options link to display rental clubs options for each of the players on the reservation. Once displayed, users can apply the rental clubs to the players on the reservation if required.

My Bookings and Editing A Tee Time

A user can access their bookings for any applicable module by the My Bookings tab displayed at the top of the module page. This includes Events, Court Bookings, Dining Reservations and Tee Times. By default, the My Bookings section in each Module will only display bookings associated with that specific Module. However, by selecting additional checkboxes, bookings from the selected module(s) will also display.

Once other bookings have been set to display, the selected settings will be cached for that modules My Bookings page. The Member will see those bookings the next time they navigate to that module's My Bookings page.

The My Bookings page will list all the user’s reservations and requests in chronological order and will display the confirmation number, any booking details, and the individual(s) assigned to the booking. If applicable, members can edit the reservation/registration by clicking on the Update Reg or cancel the reservation/registration by clicking Cancel.

  • Event Registrations
  • Court Reservations
  • Tee Time Reservations
  • Dining Reservations
The ability to edit or delete bookings are options that each club can enable or disable. Please see the section entitled Modules > Tee Time Reservation Settings for more information.

Editing A Booking

Click on the Edit Booking button to the right of the reservation or request. This will open the Book Tee Times or Make Request pages where you can change the time of the booking, number of holes, and edit player details.

Editing a booking will provide users with the same options that are present when Making a Tee Time Reservation or Making A Tee Time Request, respectively. Note that when editing a tee time request, the user has the additional ability to edit their earliest and latest acceptable tee time reservation and to edit their wait list option. For more information please review section Making a Tee Time Request.

Buddies and Groups

Buddies and Groups allows users to create a list of favorite individual members, guests, or a mixed group of members and guests that can be added to a booking quickly and easily. When making a booking, instead of searching for other players, users can click on Buddies to access a list of favorite members and guests.

Adding a single Member or Guest as a Buddy

  1. Navigate to Buddies & Groups.
  2. Use the Member and Guest tabs to the right to search for a member to add to the list, or enter a Guest First and Last name.

Creating a Group

Groups allow users to add multiple Members and Guests into a Group to be used to make a booking. For example, if Roger Smith frequently played with Jane Smith, John Ackerman and Susan Ackerman, then he can create a group consisting of Jane, John, and Susan so that he does not have to search and add them each time a booking is made. When making the booking, users can use the Buddies tab to click and add a group into the available player spots.
  1. If there isn’t a group already created, click on the ‘New Group’ button. This will add the group My new group to the list. Use the pencil icon to edit the group name.
  2. Use the search field on the right to search for a member by first or last name, or use the alphabetical index to return all last names starting with that character.
  3. To add the member to a group, click on Add To Group. The user will then be presented with a list of groups that the member can be added to. Select the group to which the member should be added to.
  4. To add a Guest, click on the guest tab on the top right side of the page. Enter their first and last names, along with an email address (optional). Click on Add To Group. You will then be presented with a list of groups to which the guest can be added to. Select the group to which the guest should be added to.
  5. You can delete a member or guest from the buddy list or group by click on the red X to the right of their name.
