The settings within the Court Management section will allow Administrators to dictate how reservations will be made online. The configurable options include Email Notifications, what detail is shown to registrants, Booking Restrictions, Player Options and Filters
The Email notifications sent out for Court Reservations are exclusively handled by the online reservation system. This includes any reservations, edits and cancellations made in Jonas Activity Management as well as online.
These settings dictate what information will be displayed on the court scheduler screen when users are viewing available time slots.
Dictates at what time the Advance Booking Restriction, which is configured in the JAM Court Booking module, will display the next available booking date.
These settings will dictate if the player option of TBD (To Be Determined) is available to users when they are completing reservations.
This setting will allow users to complete simultaneous reservations over multiple courts
These filters will control which members can be added to Court Bookings online based on their Member Status or their Dues Class
Dictates what booking length users will see for each Court Type available. Each court type is separated by their corresponding Activity Types. The lengths displayed here are based on the minimum/maximum time slots configured for the Court Types in the Jonas Activity Management software.
This setting controls which Court Type will be displayed by default when selecting an Activity Type.
This setting controls the order in which the Activity Types will be displayed within the Court Scheduler page.
This setting controls what text users will see when hovering their mouse over Available/Not Available time slots on the Court Scheduler.
This setting controls which page will be displayed first when users navigate to the Court Reservation Module
The settings and parameters which dictate what courts are available, who is able to book and when, are located in Jonas Activity Management which the Online module is integrated with. Outlined below is the various settings in Jonas Activity Management that control the Online Court Booking module.
The number of available Courts displayed online, directly corresponds to the number of Court Facilities that have been allocated to the Courts Module in Jonas Activity Management.
In order for a particular Court to appear online, they must have a check box marked Court, checked off. This is checked off in the profile underneath the Court Booking tab.
Activity Types are configured in Jonas Activity Management and represent the available Sports the club accommodates. Even though Activity Types are configured in Jonas Activity Management, they are only utilized online and are not a requirement for Jonas Activity Management. Activity Types are displayed in the Online Module above the Days of the week. Activity Management
Court Types are configured in Jonas Activity Managment and dictate what type of Courts are available at the club. They will be displayed in the Online Module as the third line underneath the days of the week.
Each Court Type is linked to an Activity Type and will only be visible if the corresponding Activity Type is selected online.
Time Slot Interval - Determines the amount of time each block on the Court Sheet in JAM and on the Court Scheduler online will represent
Minimum Time Slots - When selecting available timeslot(s) online, this will control minimum number of slots that have to be selected.
Minimum Time Slots Increase - When selecting available timeslot(s) online, this will control how many slots you can increase by starting from the minimum setting.
Maximum Time Slots - When selecting available timeslot(s) online, this setting will control the maximum number of slots you can select for a reservation.
Fixed Schedule - The setup of a fixed schedule in JAM will allow a club to control 2 things online.
Set hours by time of year - This setting allows clubs to configure different hours of operation for specific dates during the year
Court Booking Types is generally setup to distinguish if a booking is going to be made for singles or for doubles. Each Court type needs to have at least 1 booking type associated with it.
Court Privileges dictates which members will have permission to book Courts online and which members can be booked for Courts in JAM. Every Court Type needs at least 1 corresponding Court Privilege configured in order for members to be able to book a court online.
This configuration determines what times are available to this particular Court Privilege and by extension what times are available for Members. This configuration is crucial to the setup for Online Reservations.
In order to specify which days of the week and for what time of day reservations are allowed, you will need to have specify date ranges. The date ranges are specified in a day, month and year format and can cover more than a year. Unless the available times are going to change throughout the year, I would suggest setting the 'To Date' to at least 10 years in the future.
The days and times that are configured here will dictate what days and times are available online for members who this Court Privilege is applied to. Any day or time not configured in this area, but falls within the 'Hours of Operation' will be displayed as Not Available
Number of bookings in a specific period - These settings determine how many bookings a member can make online or have booked in JAM per Day, Week, Month or Year. Guest Accompaniment rules - These settings determine how many bookings with a guest a member can make online or have booked in JAM per Day, Week, Month or Year.
Enable CHO Synchronization - This allows changes made in Jonas Activity Management to be sent to ClubHouse Online by default Synchronize CHO Data. This process manually sends the configuration settings on Jonas Activity Management to ClubHouse Online.
