e3 Help > Calendar and Event Management > Event Registration Upon clicking on the Register button from the View Event, List Event or Show More screens, members will be able to register on behalf of themselves and others by way of the booking screen. There are three distinct flavours of the booking screen depending on the type of Registration assigned to the event – Quick, Detailed and Hybrid.

Quick Event Registration

Quick Registration allows Members to add registrations to an event without having to name the registrants. Members merely specify the number of registrants per Registrant Category (Child, Adult and Senior in the example below) and Registrant Type (Member and Guest). The Member making the registration is denoted as the Booking Owner as they are the only person capable of updating the registration.

Detailed Event Registration

Detailed registration requires members to name all registrants, including guests. To add a registrant, members must click on a registrant type: Member or Guest (when eligible). When adding members, they have three options.

Hybrid Event Registration

Events configured with Hybrid Registration allow members to register both named and unnamed registrants. In essence it’s a combination of Quick and Detailed Registration. The process works identically to the other two insofar as members can add named members by way of the auto complete, member search or buddies tab, or by entering a guest’s name and email address or unnamed registrants by enumerating each of the registrant categories.
