Owner

Document owner is the user responsible for its editing.

This feature doesn't imply any special permissions for the owner, but it allows for easier orientation in documents. The owner can see all her documents in My Desk -> My Documents section.

The owner is, by default, set to the user who created the document. The owner can be changed only by users with the ability to "Modify permissions".

Cache

This option allows you to specify whether the page content should be cached in memory (full-page caching). You can choose to inherit the settings from the parent document or to set a different value or to disable full-page caching.

If you choose Yes, you can set the number of minutes the page will be cached.

If you choose No, there won't be any caching on that page

URLs

Select your desired page.  Go to the PROPERTIES tab and select URLs

Alias

Page alias: The unique name of the page in the given section of the website. By default, this alias is not changed when you modify the page name. The alias is used for the URL of the document. The URL of the document is like:
www.ClubName.com/Contact_Us.aspx

Forbidden characters
Some characters are forbidden in URLs and thus they are replaced by a safe character (by default, it's an underscore _ ).

Page URL Path

Use custom URL path: This setting should be checked and left as is.
Path Type: "Standard URL or wildcard" should be selected and this setting should not be changed.
Path or Pattern: This setting should be left blank

Extended Properties

URL extensions: By default all web pages on your ClubHouse Online website end with an extension of ".aspx" (i.e. www.ClubName.com/Contact_Us.aspx).  If you would also like to allow other extensions (i.e. .html or No Extension [in other words "extensionless"] ) select Use custom URL extensions.

Multiple extensions can be entered divided by a semicolon. If you enter a semicolon without any extension, extensionless URLs will be allowed.

Example: entering .html;; for a page with a URL path set to /Contact_Us will allow the document to be accessed through all of the URLs below:

www.ClubName.com/Contact_Us.aspx
www.ClubName.com/Contact_Us.html
www.ClubName.com/Contact_Us

Page Aliases

This section displays a list of other page aliases (URLs) under which the page can be accessed. One page can have an unlimited number of aliases (URLs).

Example: I would like my Contact Us page to be accessed with a URL of /Directions.aspx (in addition to its default of /Contact_Us.aspx).

Create a NEW alias, EDIT / DELETE and VIEW ALL website Aliases.

Create a NEW Page Alias (URL):

1.  Click the ADD NEW ALIAS button.
2.  Input an alias name (URL) in Path or Pattern.
3.  Click the SAVE button.

Path or pattern: Input an alternative page alias (URL) without an extension (i.e. Directions)
Alias redirection: Leave this on "Use site settings"
Culture: Typically you will leave this setting as the default.

If your website is using multiple cultures (or languages) select your desired culture for this alias.
URL extensions: This can be left blank; leaving it blank will give the new alias an extension of .aspx (i.e. www.ClubName.com/Directions.aspx).

Optionally you can add other extensions for the new alias (i.e. .html).  More on URL Extensions above.
Track campaign: Leave this blank

EDIT or DELETE an Alias:

1.  Select your desired page and go to PROPERTIES and select URLs
2.  Under Page Aliases click the GREEN PENCIL to edit or the RED TRASH CAN to delete the alias.

Menu Actions

You can choose from the following menu item behavior options:

Standard Behavior: The menu item redirects the user to the page as expected.

Inactive Menu Item redirect to URL: The menu item click doesn't raise any action - the item is disabled. This option is useful if you need to create a menu item for the main section in the drop-down menu that cannot be clicked, but the sub-items can be clicked.
JavaScript Command: If you enter a JavaScript command, it will be run when this menu item is clicked.
- Example: alert ('You are being redirected outside our web site.');

Redirect to first child This will cause this page to automatically redirect to the first sub page (child page) under it.
URL Redirection: The user is redirected to the target location when the menu item of this document is clicked.
- Example: ~/products/overview.aspx - redirects user to the given page.

Versions

Within this tab, you will be able to view previously saved and/or published versions of the selected page. The ‘Actions’ options allow you to ‘Preview’ (and compare) older versions of the page and “Roll Back” (publish) to earlier versions, as well as delete any older version.

Each version will display which user modified it and when it was saved. The next identifier is the version number. The following is an example of how the version numbering structure works:

• 0.1 - first version of the document when it's created
• 0.2 - second modification of the document
• 1.0 - first published version of the document
• 1.1 - first modification of the published document
• 2.0 - second published version of the document

Lastly, you will see the date range for when the version(s) were published.

Linked pages

Within this tab you will be able to place a single page in multiple places within your website instead of creating copies. When you edit any of the Linked docs pages, they will also update any other documents linked to the original.

In order to create a linked document, click ‘New’ and choose ‘Link an existing document’ at the bottom of the screen:

Next, select the page that should be linked to and select ‘Link’. Additionally, if there are any child pages attached to the page to be linked, they can also be selected by clicking the checkbox, ‘Link also all child documents’.

You can then see the list of all linked pages for the currently selected page in the Properties → Linked docs tab.
