Attachments
When adding an image to a page, it can be directly uploaded and attached to the page using the ‘Quickly Insert Image’ option within the editor.
Please note, if this option is used and the page location is moved to another area on your website, any images uploaded using this feature, may no longer display correctly. This occurs as the page location has changed, therefore, the location of where the image was originally uploaded to have changed as well.
To upload an image to a page to be added as an attached document, select the ‘Quickly Insert Image’ option. From there, it will open up your computer’s directory from which you can upload an image. Once the image is inserted, it will be listed within the Attachments tab. From here, you can choose to add additional attachments using the
New attachment
(
) link. For any of the existing files, you can do the following:
•
Delete
(
) the attachment from the page.
• Use the
Move Up
(
) and
Move Down
(
) icons to re-order the attachments. The order is stored in the ‘
AttachmentOrder
’ property of each attachment.
Please note that the order of the attachments is not versioned so if you change the order of attachments in one version of the page, the order will be changed in all other versions too.
• Edit (
) the image opening up the built-in image editor.
• Update (
) the image replacing the original attachment with a new one.
Additionally, if you click on the attachment’s name, the attachment will be opened.
