Event Configuration
Event Configuration
Within the Event Configuration screen you have the ability to establish a variety of different settings.
Senders Email Address
Within this field you have the ability to establish the email address from which all email notifications will be sent. Any time a member or a person at the club is notified, the emails will emanate from this address.
For those of you that were migrated from the previous version of events, the email address you had set previously will be migrated. You need not reconfigure this, unless you want to change the email address.
Show in Calendar by Default
There are three default settings that you can establish for the Calendar and List of Events. These are:
1. Event Time
When enabled, the time of the event will be displayed within the individual Calendar cells. This setting merely establishes the default for the first time a member views the Calendar. Members will have the ability to enable/disable this setting within the Calendar. This setting does not impact List of Events since the time is always displayed.
2. Other Bookings
When enabled, members will be able to see bookings from other modules within the Calendar (i.e., Tee Times, Court Bookings and/or Dining Reservations) by default, depending on the ClubHouse Online module your club is using. Members will have the ability to enable/disable this setting within the Calendar.
3. Birthdays
When enabled, members will be able to see other members’ birthdays within the Calendar. The presence of a particular member’s birthday is subject to whether or not the club and/or the member has opted to show member birthdays within the Roster. Members will have the ability to enable/disable this setting within the Calendar.
Event Status/Dues Class Filter
These two sets of filters allow you to determine which of your members are not shown within the member lookup within the bookings screen. Any members belonging to either/both of the statuses or dues classes checked within these two filters will not appear other members are trying to make a booking – this applies to both the autocomplete field and the explicit member search. Members of these Statuses and/or Dues Classes will be able to themselves register, but no other member will be able to register on their behalf.
