Filter

Users can determine the events they want to see by searching by name or modifying the setting of the various flags.

Only Display My Bookings If this flag is checked only those events for which the current is user is booked will appear. If Other Bookings is also checked (see below), those bookings will also appear.

Other Bookings If your club is using ClubHouse Online Tee Times, Court Booking and/or Dining Reservations, by checking this flag those events will appear in the Calendar. The default position of this flag can be configured by way of Club Central> Administration> Event Management> Event Configuration.

Birthdays If this flag is checked, Member Birthdays will appear in the Calendar date cell. If a member is hiding their birthday by way of the Roster> Edit My Personal Info> General Info, then their birthday will never appear, irrespective of the setting of this flag. The default position of this flag can be configured by way of Club Central> Administration> Event Management> Event Configuration.

Event Times If this flag is checked, the start time for all events will appear prior to the event name within the calendar cells. If an event is multiple seating event, ‘Multi’ will display instead of the time. If the event is an All Day event, ‘All Day’ will display and if the event is a No Time event, nothing will be displayed.

Categories Upon clicking on this link you’ll have the ability to select the categories you want to display in the Calendar. You can opt to select all or just a selection of Event Categories that will be displayed in the Calendar. If an Event is assigned to any of the Categories specified, it will be displayed within the Calendar.

Advanced Filter

By clicking on the Advanced Filter, a whole host of other options become accessible.

Within this control, users have the ability to once again select the Categories that they would like displayed. Additionally, the filter can be configured with respect to the following criteria:

Guests Allowed This can be set to Yes, No, or No Preference (default).

Gender Allowed This can be set to Male Only, Female Only, or No Preference (default).

Other Bookings Where previously you could only specify whether or not you wanted to see Other Bookings, now users can specify which of Tee Times, Court Bookings, and/or Dining Reservations they want to see.

The presence of these options is dependent upon the ClubHouse Online modules your club has.

Birthdays Instead of simply determining whether or not users want to see birthdays in the Calendar, they can now specify if they want to see All, None or only those of their Buddies.

If a member filters the Calendar, those filtered settings will persist until such time as they modify their filter settings, clear their cookies or click on a pre-filtered Calendar (more information to follow). In the case of clicking on a pre-filtered Calendar, those will be the new filter settings that will persist until they modify them or their cookies are cleared.

As an administrator there will also be a ‘Generate Link’ button that when clicked will provide a link to a version of the Calendar subject to all of the filters applied. This is ideal in scenarios where you want to create various Calendars within your site (e.g., Golf Calendar, Tennis Calendar, Swimming Calendar, et. al.).

Upon clicking the ‘Generate Link’ button, the following window will appear from which you can copy the link.
