Sending an Event to the Website

Events that have been created in JAM have the ability to be uploaded onto the ClubHouse Online website. To send an event to ClubHouse Online, access the Event Details of the desired event and navigate to the Parameters tab à Web tab to access the web options available. The chart below further explains the Web options available from this screen:

Adjust any of the necessary settings and then press the Save icon to complete the event creation. The event will then be listed under the Manage Events view on your ClubHouse Online website as an Unpublished Event.

After an event has been uploaded onto ClubHouse Online, it can then either be Published or further edited to add photos, hyperlinks, and additional formatting. Note that when an event is uploaded from JAM, only the description is uploaded and is displayed as text only. Additional formatting (if desired) must be done from ClubHouse Online.

NOTE: The CHO Integration tab in Global Settings as well as the “Enable CHO Synchronization” flag in Event Settings must be completed before the Web tab is visible. This is typically done during the installation and setup of JAM and/or ClubHouse Online and will only need to be done once.

NOTE: Events that are to be uploaded onto ClubHouse Online from JAM will only support either Text or List type Registrant Extra Info.
Publishing an Event

Events that have been uploaded from ClubHouse Online will be marked as “Unpublished” by default. This will allow you to optionally edit an event to properly adjust its look and feel prior to making it available to your members. To publish an event, log onto ClubHouse Online as an administrator and from the CMS Desk, navigate to Administration à Event Management à Manage Events and locate the event. On the far right column you will see an icon similar to the one highlighted in the screenshot below. Simply select this icon to publish your event and will trigger another prompt to proceed. Simply follow the prompts to successfully publish your JAM created calendar event to the Online Event Calendar.

Editing an Event’s “Look and Feel”

Adjusting the Look and Feel will allow you to apply calendar templates, upload an image, and adjust HTML content of your JAM created event through the Content Editor. Begin by logging onto the CMS Desk and navigating to Administration à Event Management à Manage Events and locate the event. Then select the pencil icon ( ) adjacent to the event name to gain access to the “Edit Event” screen. From the “Look and Feel” tab you can assign the event to a Full and Small Template, select an image to be displayed within the template, and access the Content Editor to add additional descriptions.

NOTE: Events uploaded from JAM will contain plain text only. Hyperlinks, tables, images, and additional content can be added through the Look and Feel tab

Settings Tab

The Settings tab will allow you to adjust notification options for your particular event. Notifications can be sent either via Email, or JAM.

Notification Via Email:
-          Notify Members – send an email confirmation to members upon registration
-          Notify Company – set emails to be sent to the “Company Email” field when a member registers

Notification via JAM Reservations:
-          Notify Members – triggers a confirmation email to be sent when events are booked within JAM
